Representation of American Oxygen:
This music video is very patriotic and shows many different aspects of american life and the history of America compared to the society that it is today. Some of the lyrics talk about living the American dream which everybody has of the expectations of what it would be like to live in America living the American dream, whereas throughout this video it shows areas of America and the way that certain individuals have to live in such bad conditions and this opposes the idea of the American dream, as the stereotype is that if you live in America you live this amazing life living the American dream whereas in reality this is sadly not the case for everybody who lives there. An example of this is the homeless veteran, as he has served at the highest point for his country and put his life on the line for his country and now his country has left him homeless on the streets.

Representation of national identity of 'Pride' 2014
Representation of national identity of 'Pride' 2014.
At the very beginning of the trailer the welsh opera singers is non-diegetic and placed over the top of the images of different parts of Wales and famous landmarks. This is a stereotype of the Welsh community. This stereotype of Welsh people singing opera comes from the famous opera singer Charlotte Church who comes from Wales originally. Where the music then changes to a more upbeat modern song when the 'gays' come onto the scene it then shows that being gay is seen as a more modern thing. As it goes from the traditional Welsh opera singing which is a stereotype to an upbeat song that is very modern and accepted, this then has the same effect on people being gay as it is now a lot more modern and challenges the stereotype of the Welsh being single and narrow minded, whereas being gay is a lot more modern and now accepted to what it once was so by going from a very old traditional song to a very upbeat and more modern song it then represents society and how society has come on from old traditional stereotypes, as has the acceptance of gay community and the gay concept.
The stereotype that because the Welsh are such a small community, so they all know each other and get along with one another due to the wall community. This stereotype is then conformed when you see a large quantity of the community sat together in a hall clearly taking part in a certain activity all together. Also a group of men all together at a pub, conforming the stereotype that all of the Welsh know each other due to the small community.

Election
This certain news story is aimed at the general public ages 18- 65, as you cannot vote until you are 18 and these the people are that election will mostly effect so it is their choice and they get to decide who they want to ad they know the most about the different governmental parties and know which areas of the society they want to improve.
The bottom left hand corner image is very powerful to the public as it shows 3 of the different people who are against each other hugging this therefore portraying that they are friendly with each other whereas you can see the others who are not involves with being friends with each other and are just running for themselves and are standing alone, showing who is the least popular which therefore has an impact on the audience as it shows who is the least popular in the other political parties eyes and perspectives.
The graph also with the publics votes has an impact on the public as they get to see what percentage of the rest of the public think about the different parties which may then impact the votes of the rest of the public.
The camera angles in all of the images on this page are lower than what the politicians are, this is because they are then made to look of a much higher authority than the rest of us as from the camera angle it then looks like we are looking up at them, so this then shows us the influence of hierarchy.
